Today on another rousing episode of The Arms Room Glen and John shared with us some of the low round count shooting drills they do to keep up on their skills. One of Glen’s favorites is the gun safe round up, where you take some of the guns from the safe that are rarely fired and time yourself to see how fast you can load and fire them. John prefers the first round shot while drawing from concealment. Mason’s preferred low round count drill is our typical marksmanship qual, start with 25 rounds from the 100 yard line and sprint to various distances while changing positions and firing specific round counts from each position. Be sure to join us next show to hear from one of our students Ted about HAM radio and electronic communication.
